As a result of many people applying for membership, we started activities with a total of 985 members in fiscal 2019. There is a limit to the number of instructors and the scale of facilities, and the present situation is that we can not meet the expectations of all people.

Last year, many fellows won awards, including the OM World Finals bronze medal, the National Challenge Creation Contest Silver Medal, and the Ichimura Idea Award / National Junior Invention Exhibition Minister of the Arts Minister's Award. I think that the activities of club members and instructors who have continued for many years have come to fruition. I would like to create a foundation for manufacturing through the improvement of the teaching curriculum and the exchange between club members.

​Around the country, there are 218 clubs and approximately 8,500 club members.
In Aichi Prefecture, approximately 4,150 people from 23 clubs are active, accounting
for about half of the total number in the country. You can see how the boy and girl's
invention activities are enlivened throughout the region.
However, looking at the world, there are many more clubs working in Europe,America,
and China.
As Japan aims to become a scientific nation, I strongly feel the need to spread its
activities across the country. Under these local circumstances, we would like to further
invigorate the activities of this club and deepen exchanges with clubs throughout the
country.
I would like to proceed with devising the year's activity plan so that the activities become more substantial. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation
